Moerk Water joined the MV YWAM PNG medical ship on a two-week outreach to visit the villages along rivers and learn more about the villagers' lives and the quality of their water. Their water for drinking water and washing is not only of poor quality but in most cases, there is an insufficient amount meet the water requirements of all the families year round.

A solar-powered reverse osmosis unit was installed on the MV YWAM PNG medical ship, which is being used for the patients and volunteers serving on board. In the future it can be used for training purposes.
